Pan Roasted Banana Bacon with Maple Cream Cheese

  • 8 rashers streaky bacon
  • 2 bananas, halved and sliced lengthwise
  • 1 Tbsp butter
  • 75g Meadow Fresh spreadable cream cheese
  • 2 Tbsp Chelsea maple syrup plus extra for drizzling
  • Vogel's Fruit & Spice Extra Thick, toasted


  1. Heat a nonstick frying pan, add the bacon and cook until golden and crisp. Remove from the pan and set aside.
  2. Add the banana and butter and fry gently until golden, then flip over to the other side.
  3. Mix together the Meadow Fresh cream cheese and Chelsea maple syrup.
  4. Smear Meadow Fresh cream cheese mixture over the Vogel’s Fruit & Spice Extra Thick, top with the bacon and banana and drizzle with extra maple syrup.
