Goodman Fielder NZ is recalling selected Vogel’s loaves in the South Island only with the best before date of 15 August 2026 from retail stores, due to the possible presence of foreign matter (small metal pieces) in the loaves.

A spokesperson for Goodman Fielder NZ said that the company had detected the issue at the company’s bakery in Dunedin. There have been no consumer complaints, and the decision was made to recall the product as a precautionary measure.
