Ingredients

  • ½ red onion, thinly sliced
  • 100g cream cheese
  • lemon juice to taste
  • 6 Vogel’s Gluten Free Gourmet Buns, toasted
  • 2 Tbsp capers
  • 12 slices cold smoked sliced salmon
  • dill leaves for garnishing

Preparation

  1. Put the sliced onion in a bowl with cold water and set aside for 10 minutes to soften.
  2. Season the cream cheese with salt, pepper and lemon juice.
  3. Drain the water from the onion and pat dry.
  4. Smear the cream cheese over the Vogel’s Gluten Free Gourmet Buns, top with the salmon, capers and onion. Scatter over the dill leaves.
